What We Do
Discover Our Expertise
PROVIDE AN EXPLANATION OF PATHOLOGY AND GENETIC PROFILING REPORTS AS WELL AS TREATMENT OPTIONS TO EMPOWER PATIENTS IN MAKING INFORMED DECISIONS
Making informed decisions about cancer treatment can be overwhelming for patients, especially when faced with complex pathology and genetic profiling reports. We are here to assist patients and their families to alleviate their burden by providing clear explanations of these medical and scientific terms, ensuring that patients can comprehend these documents easily.
By addressing their concerns and actively engaging in discussions, we can empower patients to approach their treatment with confidence.
While we may not have all the answers, we are committed to conducting thorough research, allowing us to provide comprehensive responses to the patients' cancer-related inquiries. This extends to supporting patients in between appointments with their own physicians, ensuring they receive the information they need to make informed decisions. Furthermore, we can assist in formulating relevant questions that patients can ask their physicians during each visit, helping them obtain the necessary clarity regarding their diagnosis and treatment options. By offering this guidance and support, we aim to ease the burden on cancer patients and facilitate their active involvement in their own healthcare journey.
ASSESS TREATMENT AND CLINICAL TRIAL OPTIONS AND PROVIDE PATIENTS WITH COMPREHENSIVE GUIDANCE TO FACILIATE AN INFORMED DECISION -MAKING PROCESS
We will thoroughly review and analyze the treatment and clinical trial options provided by the patients' physicians, offering advice on the best suitable choices for each patient. Furthermore, we carefully assess the potential side effects associated with each treatment and clinical trial, enabling us to guide patients in asking the pertinent questions to their physicians regarding their options. Additionally, if patients require additional alternatives, we conduct an extensive search and evaluation to identify the most appropriate clinical trials tailored to their unique genetic profiles.
SERVE THOSE WHO ARE VULNERABLE AND UNDERSERVED POPOULATIONS
We are dedicated to assisting individuals from racial and ethnic minorities, low-income backgrounds, seniors, immigrants, and refugees who have been diagnosed with cancer. Our commitment lies in supporting them by educating the complexities of cancer diagnosis and treatments and by helping to navigate the healthcare system. Additionally, we aim to provide financial assistance to cancer patients who encounter hardships as a result of their diagnosis. Through our fundraising initiatives, we strive to enable these individuals to participate in clinical trials by covering expenses such as travel, accommodation, high deductibles, and medical tests not covered by insurance.
